한국타이어, 우수체육선수 47명 장학금 전달

대전시 우수체육선수 장학금 전달식이 있었다.

한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜(이하 한국타이어)는 지난 21일 대전시 중구 부사동 대전시체육회관에서 이승찬 대전시체육회장, 김선우 한국타이어 문화담당 상무 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘2022 대전시 우수체육선수 장학금 전달식’을 진행했다.

이날 행사에서 한국타이어는 학교체육위원회 추천 등을 거쳐 선발된 47명의 체육 선수에게 장학금 총 3,000만원을 전달했다.

전달된 장학금은 초등 8명, 중등 15명, 고등 13명, 대학 11명 등 우수체육선수에게 주어진다.

한국타이어는 지난 1997년부터 올해까지 대전지역 우수 체육 인재 1,120여 명에게 총 5억 6,600여 만원의 장학금을 전달해 오고 있다.

김선우 한국타이어 문화담당 상무는 “지역 체육 인재들의 성장 지원이 지역 체육 발전의 원동력이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “지역 체육 꿈나무들이 지역과 대한민국을 넘어 세계적인 선수로 성장하길 바란다” 고 말했다.
