[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 경상남도와 경상남도기후·환경네트워크 주최로 개최된 ‘2022년 탄소중립 생활 실천 활동보고회’에서 우수상을 수상했다고 22일 밝혔다.
‘탄소중립 생활 실천 활동 업무평가’는 도내 18개 시·군을 대상으로 온실가스 감축과 범도민 탄소중립 생활실천 문화 확산을 위해 매년 시행하고 있으며 거창군은 2018년부터 5년 연속 군부 1위 우수기관으로 선정됐다.
거창군은 탄소중립 생활 실천 문화 확산을 위해 환경의 날 행사, 기후변화 홍보관을 운영하고, 에너지 취약계층 75가구에 대한 맞춤형 비산업부문 온실가스 진단컨설팅 추진, 탄소중립 캠페인 등 다양한 노력들로 군민들의 참여를 유도했다.
