세종시의 수요응답형 버스 두루타가 시민들의 이용 편의성을 높이기 위해 스마트폰 앱을 출시하고 시스템 고도화를 거쳐 23일부터 본격 운영에 나섰다.
스마트폰 앱을 출시하면서 앞으로는 스마트폰만 있다면 앱을 활용해 손쉽게 예약할 수 있게 됐고, 두루타 앱에서는 두루타 이용예약은 물론, 상세예약 정보 확인, 두루타 이용 예약차량 위치확인 등 다양한 기능이 포함돼 이용자들은 보다 편리하고 다양하게 앱을 활용할 수 있다.
두루타는 이용대상이 고령층인 만큼, 시는 향후 읍·면·동 마을회관 등을 방문해 앱 안내, 시연 등 자리를 마련할 계획이다.
한편 세종시 두루타 버스는 12～15인 승합차를 개조한 수요응답형 버스로 노선형 ·예약제 방식으로 운행하고 있으며 2019년 12월 장군면에 처음 도입한 이후 9개 읍면지역으로 서비스 지역을 확대해 주민 이동 편의를 크게 증진한 점을 인정받아 ‘2022년 균형발전사례 우수사례’로 선정되기도 했다.
