[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군이 올해 4분기 봉사와 희생정신으로 모범이 되는 유공자 12명에게 ‘군민 으뜸상’을 수여했다.

‘군민 으뜸상’은 올해부터 각 분야에서 봉사와 희생정신으로 군민의 모범이 되는 숨은 유공자를 발굴해, 선정자의 자긍심을 고취하고 군민들의 귀감으로 삼고자 마련했다.

지난 3월 1분기 표창 수여에 이어 올해로 네 번째이다.

조근제 군수는 “어려운 상황 속에서도 항상 지역사회 발전을 위해 봉사해주신 수상자 분들께 깊이 감사드린다”며 “코로나19와 대외여건 악화로 힘든 시기를 겪고 있지만 함께 힘을 모아 어려움을 이겨내 봄날 새순처럼 찾아 올 희망을 군민 여러분과 함께 맞이하겠다”고 말했다.
