이날 퇴임식에 참석한 두 주인공인 이종학 보건소장과 차미옥 前장유도서관장이 참석한 가운데 훈장 및 공로패 수여, 홍태용 시장의 환송인사, 기념사진 촬영 순으로 진행됐으며, 홍 시장을 비롯한 후배공무원들이 그동안의 헌신과 노고에 대해 고마움을 전하고 아쉬움을 함께 했다.
