[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군이 지난해 12월 말 국토교통부 공모사업인 ‘2023년 생활밀착형 도시재생 스마트기술 지원사업’에 도시재생뉴딜사업 지구인 가야 말산지구가 공모 선정됐다.
사업 내용으로는 ‘스마트한 너와 나의 연결고리~!’를 슬로건으로 가야 말산지구내 아라길에 국도비 4억 5100만 원 포함 총사업비 6억 6100만 원을 투입해 첨단 ICT를 접목한 스마트한 문화거리를 조성할 계획이다.
세부 사업으로 가야 전통시장 내 조성예정인 청소년 문화방송국과 연계해 아라길내 옥외용 스피커시스템 설치를 통한 스마트 방송시스템을 구축하고, 함안군의 지역문화, 축제정보, 군정홍보등 지역주민과의 커뮤니케이션 강화를 위해 대형 모니터를 활용한 디지털 사이니지 6개소를 설치할 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “이번 공모사업 추가 선정으로 말산지구 도시재생사업으로 아라길에 계획된 남두육성 별밤 특화거리 조성사업과 함께 시·청각적으로 화려하고 풍성한 즐길거리를 제공해 아라길을 경주 황리단길과 같은 전국을 대표하는 명품길로 만들어 지역관광객 유치에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
