[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군 부자마을에 행운을 불러오는 '재두루미'가 출몰해 새해 좋은 소식을 예감했다.
장수와 행운을 불러오는 길조로 인식돼 학, 단정학, 선학 등으로 불리는 두루미 중 세계에 약 1만 마리가량 남아있는 국제적 멸종위기 조류인 재두루미 떼가 의령군에 출몰했다.
천연기념물 제203호 재두루미는 무병장수를 기원하는 영물로 인식되고, 사람에게 복되고 좋은 일이 있을 것을 미리 알려 주는 새로 간주된다.
4일 정곡면 성황리 월현들에 50여 마리의 재두루미 떼가 월동하는 모습이 관찰됐다.
이번 재두루미가 출몰한 정곡면은 삼성그룹 창업주 이병철 회장의 고향으로 이 일대는 의령부자마을로 불린다.
이곳은 지난해 의령부자축제인 리치리치페스티벌이 성공적으로 개최되기도 했다.
의령리치리치페스티벌 메인포스터도 두루미가 등장하기도 했다.
