[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경남도지사는 6일 오전 도청 도정회의실에서 열린 ‘2022년도 평화 번영의 한반도 기반조성 유공 포상 전수식’에 참석해 민주평화통일 유공자·단체에 훈장 및 표창을 수여했다.
이번 행사는 평화통일 기반 구축과 국민들의 통일인식 확산을 위해 활발하게 활동을 이어가고 있는 민주평화통일 자문위원들을 격려하고자 마련됐으며, 박완수 도지사, 최충경 민주평통 경남지역회의 부의장과 수상자 등이 참석했다.
전수식에서는 자유와 인권의 가치를 지키고 평화와 번영의 통일 한반도를 조성하는 데 공로를 인정받은 강인규 의령군협의회장이 국민훈장 동백상을, 신승열 거창군협의회장이 국민훈장 석류장을 수상했다.
진주시협의회와 거제시협의회가 통일여론 형성을 위한 홍보활동과 다양한 통일활동을 전개해 민주평화통일자문회의 의장인 대통령 표창을, 20명의 자문위원들이 도지사 표창을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
박완수 도지사는 축사를 통해 “경남경제에 어려운 일들이 많지만, 도민들과 함께 위기를 극복하고 올 한 해 경남이 재도약할 수 있도록 노력할 것”이라며 “최근 한반도 안보에 위협이 되는 일들이 있는데, 민주평화통일 자문위원 여러분들께서 평화와 통일을 위한 국민적 뜻을 결집하는 데에 큰 역할을 해달라”고 말했다.
