세종시의회 행정복지위원회가 지난 1일 열린 제1차 회의에서 조례안 29건 및 동의안 3건 등 총 32건을 심사·의결했다.
이날 행복위 위원들은 심도 있는 심사를 통해 ‘세종특별자치시 위원회 설치 및 운영에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’ 등 29건을 원안 가결했다.
또 ‘세종특별자치시 행정기구 및 정원 조례 일부개정조례안’과 ‘세종시 청년 일자리 창출 촉진에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’ 2건을 수정 가결했다.
특히 ‘세종시 행정기구 및 정원 조례 일부개정조례안’의 경우 위원장 및 1명의 상임위원으로 하는 세종특별자치시 자치경찰위원회 사무국 신설 근거를 마련했다.
다만, ‘국회세종의사당건립지원 협력사무소’의 명칭을 ‘서울 대외협력본부’로 변경하는 개정 조례안의 내용에 대해서는 국가균형발전의 상징적인 의미가 퇴색될 우려가 있다는 여러 위원들의 문제 제기가 있어 현행 명칭인 ‘국회세종의사당건립지원 협력사무소’를 그대로 유지하기로 했다.
