민생당 양건모 수석대변인은 7일 발표한 논평에서 “튀르키예 지진에 정부는 과감한 지원을 아끼지 말아야 한다”고 요구했다.
이 논평에서 “튀르키예 지진 사상자들의 명복을 빕니다.”고 전제하고 “6일 새벽 튀르키예 동남부 가지안테프에서 약 33km 떨어진 내륙에서 규모 7.8의 강진이 발생하여 현재까지 튀르키예와 국경을 맞닿은 시리아에서 4,000여 명이 넘는 사망자와 수만 명의 부상자가 발생했으며 피해 규모는 더욱 커질 것으로 예상된다”고 설명했다.]
이어 “이에, 윤석열 정부는 7일 튀르키예에 군 수송기를 이용한 신속한 구조 인력 파견과 긴급 의약품 지원을 지시했다. 민생당은 정부가 지진 발생으로 인한 해당 지역에 우리 국민의 피해 상황을 더 정확히 파악하여 우리 국민 보호를 위해 모든 조치를 신속히 취해줄 것과, 한국이 국제사회에 책임 있는 일원으로서, 튀르키예에 보다 과감한 지원을 아끼지 말 것을 요청한다”고 덧붙였다.

The Minsaeng Party urges the government to more accurately grasp the damage situation of Koreans in the affected area due to the earthquake and to promptly take all measures to protect our citizens, and that Korea, as a responsible member of the international community, take a more drastic action against Turkey.
