브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 서울 거주 시민 중 자녀가 2명 이상이라면 다자녀 혜택을 볼 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.
김지향 국민의힘 서울시의원은 8일 "서울시 다자녀 지원 대상을 정부 정책 기조에 맞춰 2자녀로 확대하기 위해 하수도 사용 조례를 포함한 6건의 조례 개정안을 대표 발의했다"고 밝혔다.
해당 조례 개정안들이 서울시의회 의결을 거쳐 공포된다면 올해 상반기부터는 자녀 2명 이상도 다자녀 혜택을 볼 수 있다.
이번 개정안에 포함된 서울시 다자녀 혜택은 ▲가족자연체험시설 사용료 감면, ▲서울상상나라 입장료 무료, ▲영어·창의마을 이용료 50% 감면, ▲제대혈 공급 비용 면제, ▲공영주차장 50% 할인, ▲하수도 사용료 30% 감면 등이다.
이에 대해 김지향 의원은 "경제협력개발기구(OECD) 가입국 중 최하위 출산율을 기록할 정도로 국내 저출산 문제가 매우 심각해 대통령직속 저출산고령사회위원회에서 다자녀 지원기준을 2자녀로 단계적 확대하는 방안을 추진 중"이라며 "이번 조례안 발의를 계기로 늘어나는 양육 부담 해소와 저출생 문제 개선을 위해 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
