최교진 세종교육감이 다음달 개교를 앞둔 학교를 찾아 현장 점검했다.
8일 세종교육청에 따르면 최교진 교육감은 이날 오전 나루초병설유, 나루초, 세종이음학교 현장을 방문해 개교학교 진행 상황을 점검했다고 밝혔다.
세종지역 4-2생활권 집현동에 위치한 이들 3개 학교를 오는 3월 개교를 앞두고 있다..
나루초(병설유 포함)는 연면적 11,740㎡에 초등학교 25학급 유치원 9학급, 제2 특수학교인 세종이음학교는 연면적 14,060㎡에 33학급 규모로 모두 지하 1층 지상 4층 형태로 현재 마무리 공사가 진행 중이다.
최 교육감은 나루유·초와 세종이음학교를 차례로 둘러보며 학교 시설, 통학로 안전, 급식, 교육과정 등 개교학교 준비 상황을 꼼꼼히 점검했다.
특히, 세종이음학교에 대해서는 제2 특수학교인 만큼 장애학생들의 시설 이용 불편이 없는지도 살펴봤다.
최교진 교육감은“아이들의 미래를 그리는 공간을 만든다는 책임감을 갖고, 안전한 학교가 만들어지도록 마지막까지 최선을 다해 주시길 바란다”라고 당부했다.
