대전시의회 이상래 의장을 비롯한 부의장과 의원들이 베트남 빈증성 방문길에 나선다.
이상래 의장은 13일 베트남 국외 공무 출장과 관련한 설명을 위해 시의회 기자실을 방문한 자리에서 오는 14일부터 18일까지 3박 5일간의 일정으로 해외 자매도시인 베트남 빈증성을 방문, 우호 교류를 강화하고 현지 한인 기업인과 통상협력의 공통분모를 찾는다는 출장 계획을 밝혔다.
이 의장이 밝힌 방문단은 첫날 빈증성 행정센터를 방문 ‘보반민’ 성장을 예방하고, 빈증성 인민의회 ‘응웬 쭝 녓 프엉’ 부의장과 2006년 자매결연을 맺은 이후 양기관간 관계를 더욱 공고히 하는 양해각서(MOU)를 체결한다는 계획이다.
양측은 양해각서에 상호존중과 신뢰를 바탕으로 지방정부.민간분야.시민단체 간 전략적 협력관계 구축 노력, 문화.교육.관광 분야 교류협력 적극 추진, 경제.통상.과학기술 분야 기회 창출 협력, 기관의 활동에 대한 정보 등의 공유를 담는다.

방문단은 이어 호치민 대전해외통상사무소를 방문해 대전기업 경제교류 현황을 파악하고, 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA), 한국무역협회(KITA), 중소벤처기업진흥공단(KOSME) 등을 차례로 방문하고 베트남에서 중견기업으로 성장한 동나이성 연짝공단에 위치한 대전기업 ‘삼일비나’도 방문한다.
마지막 날에는 국가 간 합작형 신경제개발의 모델인 베트남싱가포르산업단지(VSIP) 한국기업 투자현장을 시찰하고 주 호치민 총영사관을 방문하여 현지 교민 활동 및 투자현황 등 정보공유 차원에서의 간담회를 갖는다.
이날 이상래 의장은 “코로나19로 문호가 닫혔던 해외 자매도시와 우호 협력 교류의 물꼬를 넓히고 해외통상사무소 기업지원 프로젝트 활성화 방안을 찾는 좋은 계기가 될 것”이라고 말했다.
