세종시가 8천만 달러 규모의 투자유치에 성공했다.
세종시에 따르면 세종시는 세계적인 산업용가스 분야 선도기업과 손을 잡고 한화 1010억 원 상당의 8천만 달러 규모 외자유치에 성공했다고 밝혔다.
세종시는 16일 시청에서 미국 에어리퀴드 어드밴스드 머티리얼즈 코리아(ALAM Korea, Air Liquide Advanced Materials Korea)와 반도체용 공정가스 생산을 위한 투자협약을 체결했다.
세종시에 투자를 결정한 알람은 프랑스 에어리퀴드 그룹 계열사로 2013년 미국 뉴저지에 설립됐으며, 반도체, 디스플레이, 태양전지 공정 소재인 특수가스 및 화학물질을 제조하는 글로벌 기업이다
이날 협약식에는 최민호 시장과 이준배 경제부시장, 폴 버링게임(Paul Burlingame) 에어리퀴드 어드밴스드 머티리얼즈 최고경영자(CEO), 김오현 부사장이 참석했다.
