대전교육청 '꿈이룸 사제행복동행' 사업이 확대된다.
대전교육청은 15일 취약계층 학생의 사각지대 및 복지공백을 최소화하기 위해 수시 긴급위기지원 '꿈이룸 사제행복동행'사업을 확대해 올해 말까지 추진한다고 밝혔다.
'꿈이룸 사제행복동행'은 교육취약 학생들이 갑작스럽게 위생, 안전, 돌봄, 재해 등 다양한 위기상황과 복지적 측면의 결핍으로 겪는 어려움을 신속하게 해소하고, 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 지원하는 긴급지원사업이다.
그동안 대전교육청은 교직원의 ‘제자사랑 나눔캠페인’을 통해 조성되는 재원을 기반으로 대전 사회복지공동모금회와 협력하여 진행한다.
지원은 각 학교에서 긴급위기 지원이 필요한 취약계층 학생 발생 시 매월 20일까지 교육청으로 추천서를 공문제출하면, 공동모금회에서 지원기준 적합성 심사 후 영역별로 선정대상자에게 다음달 지급한다.
대상은 법정자격대상자 및 중위소득 100%이하 가정의 학생이며, 교육비(50만원), 생계비(140만원 이내 차등지원), 의료비(최대 300만원 이내)등이 지원된다. 지난해에는 초·중·고·특 82교 218명 학생에게 총 1억 8천 3백여만원이 지원됐다.
