한울본부, 울진군 가정용 상수도요금 지원 확대키로

울진군 상수도요금 지원사업은 울진군 관내 가정용 급수전(계량기) 사용 가구를 대상으로 매월 부과되는 상수도 요금을 월 5천 원 한도로 지원하는 사업이다. 한울본부는 본 사업을 2022년도부터 시행하여 월평균 18,020가구를 대상으로 총 8.9억 원을 지원했다.

올해부터는 가정용 상수도 사용요금뿐만 아니라 기본요금까지 포함하였으며, 이로 인해 혜택을 받는 가구도 작년에 비해 약 17%(3,191가구) 증가하였다. 또한 그동안 지원을 받지 못한 상수도 미설치 지역의 소규모 수도시설 비용도 추가하여 보편적 복지사업의 혜택 범위를 확대했다.

권재목 울진군 맑은물사업소장는 “올해에도 한울본부가 상수도요금을 지원해주어 정말 감사하다.”라며, “앞으로도 더 많은 주민들이 체감할 수 있는 보편적 복지사업 운영을 부탁드린다.”라고 감사의 뜻을 표했다.

가정용 상수도요금 지원사업은 별도 신청 없이, 2023년 1월 사용분(2월 청구분)부터 지원금 한도(가구당 월 최대 5천 원) 내에서 한울본부가 일괄 납부한다.
