브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대표는 22일 최근 자신을 둘러싼 검찰수사와 관련 "수사권을 가지고 보복하면 그게 깡패지 검사겠냐. 국가권력을 가지고 장난하면 그게 깡패지 대통령이냐"라고 밝혔다.
이재명 대표는 이날 민주당 최고위원회의에서 "폭력배가 폭행을 저지르면서 '왜 방어하냐, 가만히 맞고 있으라'하는 것은 깡패 인식이라고 생각한다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "이재명을 잡아보겠다고 가족·친구·후원자·이웃·지지자·아는 사람까지 이재명과 관계있는 사람들의 고통이 너무 크다"면서도 "제가 성남시장과 경기지사로 일하면서 '이재명은 공개된 표적이기 때문에 내 근처에 있다면 철저히 조심하라'고 말해왔다. 다행히 제 주변 사람, 이웃집, 친지, 후원금을 냈다고 조사받는 수없이 많은 사람 중 문제되는 사람은 없다"고 강조했다.
