국가철도공단 김한영 이사장은 21일 태화강 역사 이용 불편을 최소화하고 보행자 안전 확보를 당부했다.
김한영 이사장은 이날 동해선 태화강역사 지반 보강공사 현장을 찾아 진행상황을 점검하고 이 같이 말했다.
지난 2021년 개통된 태화강 역사는 안전에 문제가 없으나, 연약지반에 조성된 광장은 현재 지반 보강공사가 진행 중이며 오는 5월 말 준공 예정이다.
김 이사장은 “ 안전하고 효율적인 동선 확보 등 시민들의 역사 이용에 불편이 없도록 해달라" 며 “5월 준공까지 안전사고 제로”를 강조했다.
