한국전문언론인협회는 2월23일자 보도자료에서 “양자에너지를 응용한 기술의 제품을 산업 전반에 적용하고 있는 (주)에코시즌의 정원화 대표가 지난 2월 15일 프레스센터 기자클럽에서 한국전문언론인협회가 시상하는 2023 대한민국혁신리더상을 수상했다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “(주)에코시즌은 분자 사이에 작은 입자를 넣어 물성(物性)을 개선한다는 개념의 양자 에너지 기술로 자동차의 엔진오일, 냉각수 등 케미컬류의 성능을 개선해 자동차 성능과 연비를 잡을 뿐만 아니라, 퀀텀에너지 발생기인 Q-E셀을 우리가 쓰는 물과 농업용수에 적용해 육각구조수를 만들고, 물속의 음전자수치를 높여줌은 물론 항산화 기능을 발휘하도록 해 소독제, 비료, 농약 사용을 최소화 할 수 있다”고 소개했다.
대한민국혁신리더상을 수상한 정원화 대표는 “양자물리학의 양자에너지(Quantum Energy)를 응용하여 미세먼지의 주범인 자동차 이산화탄소 발생량을 현저히 저감시킬 수 있다”고 말하고 “트랙터, 선박, 가정용 보일러 등에 접목시키면 대기오염 방지는 물론 에너지 효율을 극대화 시킬 수 있다”고 설명했다.또한 “산업분야에 오폐수를 저감시켜 환경오염(토양, 지하수)을 방지하고 특히 농축수산업용 ERES라고 하는 환경 회복 에너지 시스템을 통해 친환경 생태환경을 조성하여 병충해를 방지하고, 수확량을 증가시켜 국민의 삶의 질을 획기적으로 바꿀 수 있다”고 강조했다.
정원화 대표는 지난 2021년 4월30일 프레스센터 20층 국제회의장에서 개최된 제23회 장영실국제과학문화상 시상식에서 농업과학기술대상을 수상하기도 했다.
