거창군, 농업용 로봇 실증지원 사업 선정

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 농촌진흥청과 한국농업기술진흥원이 주관한 ‘2023년 농업용 로봇 실증 지원사업’에 군과 ‘거창 다축사과 연구회(회장 김병철)’가 최종 선정됐다고 27일 밝혔다.

‘거창 다축사과 연구회’는 이 사업을 위해 로봇작동 실증 수행에 적합한 30~50대의 젊은 연령대 13명의 농업인이 모여 출범한 연구단체로 이번 공모(과수부문 1개소)에서 발표 및 현장평가를 거쳐 거창군이 선정됐다.

농업용 로봇 실증지원 사업은 농촌진흥청에서 개발한 농업용 로봇의 상용화를 위한 현장실증 신규 사업으로 사업비는 10억 원이며 전액 국비 사업이다.

공모사업 선정으로 거창군은 향후 5년간 관내 다축, 세장방추형, 고목과원 등 총 13ha의 다양한 현장에 방제, 제초, 추종형 운반, 생육모니터링 등의 자율주행 무인로봇을 투입해 농작업 자동화를 위한 각종 실증을 수행할 예정이다.
