세종시의회, 신임 정책지원관 임용장 수여

세종시의회 정책지원관 임용장 수여식이 27일 있었다.

이날 세종시의회는 의회청사 대회의실에서 신규 채용된 정책지원관 6명에게 임용장을 수여했다.

이로써 세종시의회는 지난해 임용된 정책지원관 4명에 이어 6명을 추가로 선발함에 따라 지방자치법에 규정된 의원 정수의 절반을 정책지원관으로 확보하게 됐다.

이번 임용장 수여는 지난 12월 12일 임기제공무원 임용시험 시행계획 공고를 시작으로 서류전형과 면접시험을 거쳐 최종 합격자를 선발한 데 따른 것이다.

신규 임용되는 정책지원관은 일반임기제 6급 상당 공무원으로 조례 제·개정, 폐지 등 입법활동과 행정사무 감사·조사, 서류제출 요구 관 자료수집·분석 등 의정 지원 업무를 수행하게 된다.

상병헌 의장은 “이번 임용을 계기로 다양한 행정 수요에 대응하기 위한 시민 맞춤형 정책 지원의 기반을 마련하게 되었다”면서 “오늘 임용된 정책지원관들이 앞으로 의원들과 호흡을 맞춰서 시민을 위해 일하는, 능력 있는 의회를 만들어 주길 바란다”고 당부했다.
