올해 철도 시스템 분야 건설에 2조 3093억원이 투입된다.
국가 철도공단은 27일 수도권 남부지역 고속철도 서비스 확대를 위한 인천발·수원발 KTX 직결사업, 서해선축 전철망 확충을 위한 장항선 주포∼대야 구간 전철화 사업, 경부고속선 KTCS 신설사업 등 총 107건, 1조 1,080억원을 공사 발주한다고 밝혔다.
용역 부문에서 남부내륙철도, 인덕원∼동탄, 강릉∼제진 철도건설 설계용역, 전기·통신 분야 정밀진단 및 성능평가 용역 등 총 238건, 6,128억원이 투입된다.
열차제어시스템, 광다중화장치 등 신규 자재 발주도 총 168건, 5,885억원이 투입될 예정이다.
공단은 올해부터 철도시스템 분야 인접구간 사업 및 동일 품목 자재에 대해 건설과 개량사업을 통합 발주해 중복 투자를 방지하고 운행선 구간에 대한 안전관리를 강화한다.
국가철도공단 김한영 이사장은 “침체된 경기회복과 경제활력 제고를 위해 상반기 중에 발주를 적극 추진하겠다' 며 "신속한 사업비 집행을 통해 일자리 창출에도 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
