김태흠 충남지사가 2025년 삽교역 완공 전 주변 개발과 내포역 명칭 변경 검토를 주문하면서 도민 편의 향상을 위한 행정 추진을 당부했다.
김태흠 지사는 27일 도청 대회의실에서 열린 제30차 실국원장회의에서 이같이 당부하면서 내포신도시 순환버스 확대 등 행정을 하는데 있어 도민 편의 향상에 중점을 둘 것도 당부했다.
김 지사는 또 “삽교역의 명칭을 내포역으로 변경하는 것을 검토하라”고 지시하고 “추후 도민들이 역사를 이용하는데 불편하지 않도록 해야 한다”고 강조했다.
이어 “내포신도시 개발과정에서 절차나 방법 등을 빨리 준비해서 시군 사업과 연계해 발전할 수 있도록 해야 한다”며 충남도 차원의 철저한 준비 필요성을 제기했다.
이날 김 지사는 지난 25일부터 운행을 시작한 내포신도시 순환버스에 대해서도 운영 과정에서 주민들의 편의성을 높이는데 신경을 써 달라고 주문했다.
도민 편의와 관련 김 지사는 “전통시장 주차장을 조성할 때 노면 보다는 주차타워 건립을 추진해야 한다”며 “초기 예산은 더 투입되겠지만 주차 면수를 더 확보 할 수 있는 만큼 주변 경관을 고려해서 주차타워 건립을 검토하라”고 지시했다.
김 지사는 개선안을 마련 중인 발탁승진 제도에 대해서는 “소수직렬은 발탁을 하고 싶어도 직책이 없어서 못하는 경우가 있다”며 소수직렬이 조금 더 확대될 수 있도록 해야 한다는 의견을 냈다.
