세종시교육청이 올해 수업지원교사를 확대해 운영한다고 9일 밝혔다.
시 교육청은 보건교사까지 범위를 확대해 유치원 6명, 초등 17명, 중등 19명, 특수 3명, 보건 2명, 영양 2명 총 49명의 수업지원교사를 배치하기로 했다.
수업지원교사는 세종교육청이 학생의 학습권 보장과 교원의 근무여건을 개선하기 위해 2019년 3월 처음도입해 같은 해 9월 중등수업 지원까지 확대했다.
앞서 시 교육청은 질 높은 학교지원을 위해 지난 2일 세종교육원에서 수업지원교사를 대상으로 사전 교육을 실시했다.
이날 사전교육은 수업지원교사의 업무절차, 복무 안내, 다면평가 기준안 마련, 수업 중 유의사항 등 수업 지원 시 필요한 행정과 교사의 법적 의무 등에 대해 안내했다.
특히, 지난해 학교에서의 요구사항 등을 공유해 질 높은 수업 지원이 될 수 있도록 했다는게 교육청 관계자의 설명이다.
백윤희 정책기획과장은 “올해는 단순히 수업의 공백만을 채우는 것이 아닌 수업의 질을 높이는 사업이 될 수 있도록 하겠다”라고 말했다.
