서초구청에서 열린 이날 협약식에는 KCC 김상준 상무, 서초구 전성수 구청장을 비롯해 4개 복지기관 관계자 15명이 참석해 2023년도 사업방향과 운영계획, 민관 협력방안 등을 논의했다.
‘반딧불 하우스’ 사업은 주거환경 개선이 시급한 가구를 대상으로 주택 개보수를 통한 공간복지 실현을 지원하는 프로젝트다. 밤하늘을 날아오르는 반딧불이처럼 도움의 손길이 필요한 지역사회를 찾아가 삶을 환하고 밝게 변화시킨다는 의미를 담고 있으며, KCC는 2018년부터 이 사업을 진행해 총 176가구를 지원했다.
KCC는 이번 사업에 1억 원 상당의 건축자재와 전문 인력을 지원하고, 일대일 상담 및 맞춤형 시공 서비스도 제공한다.
또한, 연말에는 사업 참여자들이 반딧불 산타클로스가 도ㅓㅐ 한 해 동안 집수리를 진행했던 가구를 찾아가 개선 상황을 점검하고, 선물 전달과 함께 말동무가 돼 드리는 등 지역사회의 일원으로서 지속가능한 공동체 구축을 위한 역할도 충실히 이행할 예정이다.
신청대상은 기초생활수급자, 독거어르신, 한부모가족, 장애인 등 기준 중위소득 120% 이하의 사회적 배려가 필요한 가구로 오는 4월 3일부터 5월 31일까지 관할 동 주민센터 또는 협력기관을 통해 신청할 수 있다. 신청자의 지원 사유, 시급성, 중복지원 여부 등을 종합적으로 고려해 대상 가구를 선정, 집수리를 진행한다.
