[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난 9일 청춘창고에서 구인모 군수와 군의회 의원, 제3기 청년네트워크 구성원 등 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘제3기 청년네트워크 발대식’을 개최했다.
청년네트워크는 군의 청년정책 등에 청년들의 참여를 확대하고 의견을 반영하기 위해 운영 중이며, 거창군 청년들을 대표해 △청년정책 제안 △청년문제 개선방안 모색 △청년 역량 강화 등 다양한 활동을 추진한다.
올해 3기는 역대 최다 인원인 46명의 청년들이 참여해 발대식에 앞서 오리엔테이션과 인구 소멸 위기 공감 특강, 소통회의 등의 활동을 하며 군정 정책 방향과 청년문제에 대해 공감하는 시간을 가졌다.
거창군은 청년들의 목소리를 정책 과정에 적극 반영하기 위해 청년정책제안대회와 청년 토크쇼 등을 추진할 예정이다.

지난해에 이어 대표로 선출된 김희준 대표는 “함께 협력해 나가는 청년네트워크가 됐으면 좋겠고, 거창군 청년들을 대표해 군과 소통해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
구인모 거창군수는 “청년들이 정착할 수 있는 환경 조성을 위해 정책뿐만 아니라 청년 맞춤형 인프라 구축을 위해 노력하고 있다”며 “청년네트워크 여러분들의 열정적인 활동으로 청년이 행복한 거창을 함께 만들어 나가자”고 말했다.
