지난 3월17일-19일, 경남 하동군 청학동의 지리산 자락에 있는 '삼성궁'을 방문했다. '삼성궁'의 창립자인 한풀 선사(세속 명=강민주)는 한국이 낳은 '특수한 인물'이다. 이 분은 지리산 청학동 일대의 부동산 137만평의 주인. 지난 55년 간 '삼성궁' 일대에 80억 개 정도의 돌을 이용, 돌탑 수 백개를 맨손으로 쌓아 국제적인 문화재급 관광지를 만들었기 때문이다.<필자 주>
사람이 예술을 창조한다. 하지만, 예술의 생명은 길다. 삼성궁은 한풀 선사가 창조해낸 큰 규모의 예술품, 그 자체이다. 그는 “나는 대지 예술가“라고 표현한다. 세계적인 건축가인 프랭크 개리가 '친구'라고 말한다.
한풀 선사는 경남 하동군 청학동 일대의 대지 위에 '불멸의 예술품'을 만들어낸 작가이다. 하찮은 대지를 예술화한 위대한 작가 축에 끼인다. 한국인 대지의 예술가인 한풀 선사에게 '존경의 념(念)'을 표한다. '삼성궁'을 사진 르포 한다. <끝> moonilsuk@naver.com

[Local report] 'Samsung Palace' in Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do... 'Hanpul Seonsa' who expresses "I am a land artist"

From March 17th to 19th, I visited 'Samsung Palace' at the foot of Mt. Jiri in Cheonghak-dong, Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. The founder of 'Samseonggung', Hanful Seon (secular name = Kang Min-ju), is a 'special figure' born in Korea. This person is the owner of 1.37 million pyeong of real estate in Cheonghak-dong, Jirisan. This is because over the past 55 years, around 8 billion stones have been used to build hundreds of stone pagodas with bare hands in the area of 'Samsung Palace' to create an international cultural heritage-level tourist destination.
people create art However, the life of art is long. Samseonggung is itself a large-scale work of art created by Zen Master Hanpul. He expresses himself as “I am a land artist.” World-renowned architect Frank Garry says 'friend'.
Master Hanpul is an artist who created 'immortal works of art' on the land around Cheonghak-dong, Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. He is among the great artists who turned insignificant land into art.
