'지구촌 전쟁 종식 평화 선언문' 지지 촉구를 위한 여성 파트너십' 회의가 지난 20일 충남 천안에서 열렸다.
㈔세계여성평화그룹 글로벌 10국(이하, IWPG)은 이날 오전 11시 천안독립기념관에서 ‘제5회 온리피스(Only Peace) 콘퍼런스'를 개최하고 ‘지구촌 전쟁종식 평화 선언문’(DPCW)의 국제법 제정 촉구에 나섰다.
조백리 글로벌국장은 인사말에서 “DPCW가 제시하는 평화의 의미는 전쟁 없는 세계를 후대 유산으로 물려 주는것"이라며 "평화를 위해 일하는 사람이 많으면 많을수록 전쟁없는 세상은 앞당겨 질 것”이라고 주장했다.
발제자인 송근희 청주지부장은 현 국제법의 한계와 새로운 평화 국제법의 필요성을 설명하고 지지 여성들의 역할을 주문했다.
