브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정부가 내수 활성화를 위해 숙박비와 교통비 할인과 직장인 휴가비 등 최대 600억원을 지원한다.
정부는 29일 윤석열 대통령 주재로 열린 비상경제민생회의에서 이같은 내용이 담긴 '내수활성화 대책'을 발표했다.
발표안에 따르면 정부는 숙박·유원시설 등 400억원을 투입해 134만명에게 할인혜택을 제공한다.
숙박 플랫폼을 통해 예약하면 100만명에게 3만원 할인혜택을 주고, 온라인에서 유원시설을 예약하면 18만명에게 할인쿠폰 1만원을 지원한다.
숙박예약 할인은 사업자를 공모해서 선정할 예정이며 네이버, 야놀자 등 주요 플랫폼이 참여할 것으로 예상된다고 전했다.
이어 KTX 등 철도와 항공권 요금의 1만~2만원 할인 혜택을 15만3000명에게 제공한다.
중소·중견기업 근로자와 소상공인 등 최대 19만명에게 국내여행비 10만원을 지원한다. 근로자 휴가 지원사업은 근로자가 자비로 20만원을 부담하면, 기업과 정부에서 각 10만원을 보태 총 40만원의 국내 휴가비를 지원하는 제도다. 당초 9만명을 대상으로 했던 사업을 19만명까지 늘렸다.

정부는 아울러 전국에 50여개의 큼직한 이벤트를 만들어 관광 붐을 일으키겠다는 계획도 발표했다.
4월 서울페스타로 시작해 5월 K-팝 부산 드림콘서트, 봄빛 동행축제 등을 계획하고 있다. 여행 비수기인 6월에는 '여행가는 달'이라는 테마로 교통, 숙박, 유원시설 할인 쿠폰을 지급한다.
7~8월에는 농어촌 관광 프로그램, 10월 부산국제영화제 및 e스포츠대회(롤드컵) 등을 연속 개최해 다양한 즐길 거리를 제공한다.
특히 연휴 기간과 이벤트 등을 연계해 백화점·패션·가전·면세점·휴게소 등에서 대대적 할인행사도 실시한다. 5월에는 전국 면세점들이 참여하는 '코리아 듀티 프리 페스타(Korea Duty-Free FESTA)'를 개최한다.
국가 차원에서 진행되는 쇼핑 할인행사인 코리아세일페스타는 오는 11월에 기존 15일에서 5일 늘린 20일간 운영한다.
K-컬쳐, 숲속힐링, 미식여행 등 다양한 테마를 가진 전국 지역축제도 개최한다.
수도권은 음악·공연 등을 중심으로 '다함께 들썩이는 K-컬쳐 축제', 강원권은 레저·웰니스 등 '숲속 힐링에 반하다', 충청권은 '맛잘알 구석구석 미식여행', 경상권은 '콘텐츠로 즐기는 여행', 전라권은 '지구촌이 주목하는 축제', 제주도는 '제주 즐길 준비 됐수꽈? ' 등을 계획했다.
기존의 주요 지역 축제들과도 연계해 쿠폰 지급과 할인행사를 추진하고, 지역 연고 기업과 유통업체 등이 축제를 후원할 수 있도록 할 방침이다.
이와 함께 각 지자체와 연계해 지역 관광상품을 개발하는 한편 5~6월에는 인플루언서를 활용한 팸투어를 실시하는 등 홍보도 강화할 예정이다.
