한국농어촌공사 파주지사는 6일 파평면 두포리 임진강 대단위양수장에서 ‘23년 안전영농, 풍년농사를 기원하는 언택트 통수식을 개최했다.
파주지사는 지난달부터 통수식에 대비해 관내 38개 양수장과 1천589km 용수로에 대한 점검·정비를 마무리하는 등 효율적인 급수체계를 구축했다.

파주지사 관할 12개 저수지 현재 평균 저수율은 평년 수준으로 영농급수에 지장이 없으나, 급격한 기후변화와 무강우 지속 등으로 추후 저수율이 부족할 경우를 대비하여 양수시설을 확보하고 용수로에 물을 직접 공급하는 등 시설별 맞춤형 용수확보 대책을 수립, 빈틈없는 용수공급을 추진할 계획이다.
최종태 파주지사장은 “본격적인 영농기를 맞아 농업인들이 영농에 전념할 수 있도록 물 관리에 만전을 기하겠다.”라며, “과학적인 물관리로 안정적인 용수공급을 하고, 지속적인 저수량·강수량 모니터링을 통해 적기적시 최선의 공급대책을 시행하겠다”라고 말했다.[파주=박정호기자
