세종시의회는 12일 의장 접견실에서 2022 회계연도 결산검사위원에게 위촉장을 수여했다.
시의회에 따르면 이날 이번 결산검사위원은 세종시의원 3명, 회계·세무사 4명, 전직 공무원 3명 등 총 10명으로 구성됐다.
위촉된 위원들은 4월 12일부터 5월 1일까지 20일간 세종시와 교육청의 2022회계연도 예산결산검사를 진행한다.
상병헌 의장은 이날 결산검사위원 위촉식 이후 환담을 통해 하반기 행정사무감사와 본예산 심사와도 깊은 연관이 있는 예산결산의 중요성을 강조하고 시민 눈높이에 맞는 역할을 주문했다.
대표위원으로 선임된 임채성 의원은 “한 해 예산이 시민 복리 증진을 목적으로 적법한 절차를 거쳐 시의적절하게 잘 쓰였는지 결산검사위원들과 함께 세밀히 살펴보겠다”면서 “위법 부당한 사항이 발견된다면 강력히 시정 및 개선을 요구할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
한편, 세종특별자치시의회는 결산검사 전날인 11일 의정실에서 결산안 심사 전략과 검사의견서 작성 요령 등에 관한 교육을 실시했다.
이날 결산검사 교육에는 세종시의회 의원과 결산검사위원, 의회사무처 관계 공무원 등 30여명이 참석했다.
교육 강사로 초빙된 한국산업기술원 지방자치연구소 이정화 교수는 3시간여에 걸쳐 2022년 결산서 분석 등 결산안 심사 전략과 결산검사 주요 쟁점 사항 등을 강의했다.
