[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군이 한국매니페스토실천본부가 주관하는 '민선 8기 기초단체장 공약실천계획 평가'에서 A등급에 선정됐다고 18일 밝혔다.
이는 경남 군단위 자치단체에서 우수는 의령군이 유일하다.
한국매니페스토평가단은 지난 1월부터 전국 226개 시군구청장의 공약 실천 계획을 대상으로 갖춤성 민주성 투명성 공약일치도 등 4개 분야 35개 세부 지표에 대해 평가하고 그 결과를 SA부터 D등급까지 5개 등급으로 분류했다.
군은 이 평가에서 총점 80점 이상을 넘어 우수등급인 A를 받았다.
의령군과 함께 A등급을 받은 경남 지자체는 창원시, 통영시, 밀양시, 양산시 등 5곳으로 군부에서는 의령군만이 순위에 들었다.
의령군은 민선 8기 공약 실천 계획서에 4대 분야, 8대 전략, 54개 공약을 담았다.
군은 공약사업 추진을 위해 20명의 군민공약평가단을 구성, 민선8기 공약실천 계획수립 상황을 군민과 함께 점검하고 공약추진 방향을 조정하는 등 객관성과 투명성 확보에 주력해 왔다.
또 공약 관리와 주민참여 채널 접근성을 높이기 위해 의령군 누리집의 '공약과 실천' 콘텐츠 완성에 심혈을 기울였다.
