세종시와 세종교육청이 19일 미래교육 정책 수립을 위한 교육행정실무회의를 19일 개최했다.
세종시는 이날 시청 박팽년실에서 ‘제2차 교육행정 실무회의’를 열고 시-교육청 간 주요 안건 7건에 대해 논의를 가졌다.
회의에서 시는 교육청에 ▲여민전 학습특별포인트 ▲초등 사회 교과 보조교재 개발 참여 ▲학부모 토크콘서트 홍보 ▲마을기록문화관 견학·교육 프로그램 등을 협조 요청했다.
시교육청은 ▲2023년 공공기관 방문 진로·직업체험 프로그램 ▲세종 돌봄 생태계 구축 협력 체제 등을 시와 논의했다.
그동안 시는 교육재정의 안정적 지원을 위해 지방재정법에서 정한 지방교육재정부담금을 세수 여건을 감안해 매월 지원해왔다.
특히,통학로 안전지킴이 운영지원, 진로체험센터 운영 지원 등 교통안전과 학력신장 사업도 지원하고 있다.
또, 과별, 국별, 기관별 협의체를 운영해 현재까지 3회에 걸쳐 협력사항 등을 논의했다.
주요내용은 세종스마트국가산업단지 교육환경평가협의나 지속가능발전 교육협력체계 구축 협력 등 행정적인 사항과 유·보 통합연계 등 국정과제 추진에 대한 사항 등이다.
시는 미래 세종교육 실현을 위해 교육청과 원활한 협력체계를 구축해 나가는 한편, 교육 관련 국정 현안과제를 지혜롭게 해결할 수 있도록 노력해나갈 방침이다.
박대종 교육지원과장은 “세종의 미래가 잘 성장할 수 있도록 교육청과 적극적인 소통의 문을 열어나가고 있다”라며 “앞으로도 더욱 생산적인 협력체계를 다져나가겠다”라고 말했다.
