브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 최근 1년 안에 이직 활동을 한 직장인 중 절반이, 이직 활동을 시작한 지 3개월안에 이직에 성공한 것으로 나타났다.
20일 잡코리아에 따르면 최근 1년 안에 이직 활동 경험이 있는 직장인 462명을 대상으로 ‘이직 성공 현황’에 대해 설문조사를 진행한 결과, ‘현재 이직에 성공한’ 직장인은 70.1%로 조사됐다. 10명중 7명이 이직 활동을 시작한지 1년 안에 이직에 성공한 것이다.
이직에 성공하기까지 걸린 기간을 살펴보면 ‘2개월~3개월’에 성공했다는 응답자가 34.6%로 가장 많았다. 이어 4개월~6개월(26.2%), 1개월(20.1%) 순이었다.
누적비율로는 3개월 안에 이직에 성공한 직장인이 54.7% (1개월20.1% + 2~3개월 34.6%)로 절반에 달했다.
이직에 성공한 직장인 대부분은 연봉협상 시 전 직장보다 높거나, 비슷한 수준으로 연봉을 협상한 것으로 나타났다. 이직한 기업의 연봉수준에 대해 ‘전 직장보다 높다’고 답한 직장인이 42.9%로 가장 많았고, ‘전 직장과 비슷하다’는 응답자가 41.7%로 조사됐다.
전 직장 대비 연봉 인상률은 ‘10% 정도 올랐다’는 응답자가 40.3%로 가장 많았고, 5% 정도(21.6%), 3% 정도(15.8%) 등이었다.
반면, 이직한 기업의 연봉이 ‘전 직장보다 낮다’는 직장인도 15.4%로 10명중 1명 수준으로 조사됐다, 이들이 전 직장보다 낮은 연봉에도 불구하고 이직한 이유 1위는 ‘이직 공백기를 줄이기 위해서(38.0%)’인 것으로 나타났다.
한편, 이직에 성공한 직장인들에게 ‘이직 성공을 위해 어떤 준비를 했는지’에 대해 조사한 결과 ‘경력을 자세하게 기술했다’고 답한 직장인이 52.4%로 2명중 1명 수준으로 가장 많았다.
