고양시는 지난 17일 창릉신도시에 자족기능이 갖춰질 수 있는 방안과 고양시 전체의 균형발전을 논의하기 위해 행신, 창릉, 화전, 삼송, 향동, 덕은, 원흥 등 7개 지역주민들로 구성하여 운영하는 민간단체인‘덕양연합회’와 소통간담회를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

덕양연합회가 제안한 소통간담회는 자족기능 확보와 선도기업 유치, 사회복지·문화 등이 어우러지는 신도시 조성을 위한 공감대를 공유하고 의견을 나누는 자리로 마련됐다.
이날 덕양연합회는 공항과의 접근성, GTX-A노선 등 다양한 교통수단과 지리적 장점을 활용한 선도기업 유치, 종합병원 설립, 창릉신도시 기업유치 TF팀 구성 및 운영을 제안했다.
이자리에서 한국토지주택공사(LH) 관계자는 “고양시의 창릉신도시 개발 방향을 충분히 이해하고 있다. 지속적인 협의와 소통을 이어 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
