브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 강원도, 춘천시와 함께 ‘매출채권보험 보험료지원 업무협약’을 체결했다고 26일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 3高(고물가·고금리·고환율) 복합위기와 동시다발성 대형산불 등 대내외 여건 악화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 강원도 소재 중소기업의 연쇄도산 방지와 판로확대 지원을 위해 마련됐다. 특히, 중소기업의 보험료 지원을 위해 신보가 광역·기초 자치단체와 3자간 업무협약을 맺은 것은 이번이 처음이다.
지원대상은 본사 또는 주사업장이 강원도에 소재하는 보험대상업종 영위 중소기업이며, 협약을 통해 신보는 보험료의 10%를 할인하고, 강원도는 기업당 최대 200만원 한도로 보험료의 50%를 지원한다.
또한, 춘천시는 춘천시 소재 기업에 대해 기업당 최대 200백만원 한도로 보험료의 20%까지 추가 지원하기로 해, 강원도 춘천시 소재 기업의 경우에는 지자체 지원으로 보험료의 최대 70%까지 지원 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
한편, 신보는 올해 매출채권보험 규모를 전년 대비 2000억원 증가한 21조2000억원 규모로 확대 운영해 중소기업 경영안정을 위한 든든한 버팀목 역할을 수행 중이다.
매출채권보험은 신보가 중소벤처기업부에서 업무를 수탁받아 운용하는 공적보험제도로 보험에 가입한 기업이 물품이나 용역을 외상판매 한 후, 거래처로부터 대금을 회수하지 못하면 손실금의 최대 80%까지 보상해준다.
