브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 넥센타이어는 28일 ‘2023 현대 N 페스티벌(Hyundai N Festival)’ 모터스포츠 대회에 공식 타이어를 공급한다고 밝혔다.
‘현대 N 페스티벌’은 현대차의 고성능 브랜드 N 차량을 활용하는 모터스포츠 대회로, 스프린트 레이스와 모터스포츠 입문자를 위한 타임 트라이얼 레이스로 구분돼 있다.
넥센타이어는 스프린트 레이스인 ‘벨로스터 N 컵(N2 Class)’, ‘아반떼 N Line 컵(N3 Class)’과 ‘타임트라이얼(NTT)’ 레이스에 공식 타이어를 후원한다.
넥센타이어가 공급하는 제품은 ‘N’FERA(엔페라) SUR4GM’로, 국내에서 판매 중인 세미슬릭 타이어인 ‘N’FERA SUR4G’를 모터스포츠 전용 버전으로 개선한 제품이다.
기존 제품보다 고속주행 환경에서 보다 우수한 접지력과 제동력을 제공하며 빗길 주행에서 뛰어난 배수 성능과 안정적인 핸들링 성능을 제공한다고 제조사는 설명했다.
한편, ‘2023 현대 N 페스티벌’은 오는 29일 영암 국제자동차 경주장에서 열리는 개막전을 시작으로 10월 29일까지 인제스피디움을 오가며 총 7번의 라운드로 개최된다. 현대 N 페스티벌은 유튜브, 페이스북, 네이버TV 등 온라인 라이브 스트리밍을 통해서도 시청 가능하다.
