공공기관과 기업 대상 탄소중립과 RE100사업 개발을 전문으로 하는 한국에너지전환사업단이 부산에서 처음으로 「재생에너지 사업개발 및 보급」 분야 예비 사회적기업으로 지정되었다.
이번에 신규 예비 사회적기업으로 지정된 한국에너지전환사업단(유)은 부산에서는 물론 전국적으로도 드물게 전기공사업을 기반으로 하는 「소셜 기술벤처기업」이다. 전국 공공기관과 기업들의 탄소중립과 RE100(사용전력을 재생에너지 100%로 전환)」 지원사업 전문기업으로서는 사실상 첫 예비 사회적기업이다.
한국에너지전환사업단은 2019년 1월 창립 이후 지자체와 한국전력 계열기업 및 지역사회의 공익단체 등과 함께하는 <초록지붕운동>인 태양광보급사업을 펼쳐 인천시, 경기도 포천시, 연천군 등에서 공공기관과 학교, 기업의 유휴부지 ㅁ등에 공익형 태양광발전사업을 다수 진행했다.
또한 부산시가 주최하는 국제환경에너지박람회(ENTECH)에 매년 참가, 대규모 탄소중립특별전과 기업의 맞춤사업 컨설팅, 심포지엄 및 교육 등을 주관하여 지역사회의 탄소중립과 RE100기업 지원형 에너지 비전 수립에 기여했다는 평가를 받아왔다.

부산시는 1일 사회적기업 육성을 위한 2023년 제1차 예비 사회적기업 공모 결과 한국에너지전환사업단(유)(대표 이동형)를 비롯 ▲(주)로타트 ▲(주)하랑플랜 ▲(사)한국스포츠아카데미 ▲(주)이크린텍 ▲(사)컴피장애인복지자립협회 등 6곳을 지역형 신규 예비 사회적기업으로, (협)작은시선을 지정변경 예비 사회적기업으로 추가선정 했다고 발표했다. 이로써 부산의 사회적기업 및 예비 사회적기업은 모두 320곳으로 늘어났다.
