브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 미래에셋생명은 2022년 임직원 자투리 급여 모금액 1000만 원을 기부한다고 2일 밝혔다.
기부금은 재단법인 해피빈을 통해 소외계층 아동z청소년들을 지원하고 지속가능한 사회를 위한 숲 조성을 후원하는데 쓰인다.
미래에셋생명은 창립 이래 임직원들의 자발적 참여로 월급의 천원 단위 자투리 금액을 적립해 매년 기부해왔다. 여기에 임직원의 자발적 후원금에 맞춰 회사가 동일한 추가 금액을 부담해 기부하는 형태인 매칭그랜트(Matching Grant) 형태를 통해 발전기금을 보탠다. 임원들은 미래에셋박현주재단의 ‘임원 1% 희망나눔’ 캠페인을 통해 급여의 일정 부분을 추가로 기부한다.
이번에 모인 기부금은 한부모 저소득가정 수학여행 경비 지원, 가정폭력 피해 아동 심리치료 지원, 그리고 도심 속 숲 조성 사업 지원에 기부된다.
취약계층 아동·청소년들에게 수학여행 경비지원을 통해 친구들과 추억을 쌓을 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 학대피해아동·청소년에게 정서적 불안감과 문제행동을 완화하는 심리치료비로 사용될 예정이다. 또한, 도심 속 숲 조성 사업은 방치된 공간을 다시 숲으로 바꾸는 사업으로, 미세먼지 저감, 공기정화 효과와 함께 도시민들에게 누구나 찾아가서 쉴 수 있는 휴식처를 제공할 예정이다.
