브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 바인그룹이 지난 달 29일 소도시 교육인프라 지원을 위해, 강원도 동해시에 위치한 묵호중학교에서 ‘학교로 찾아가는 위캔두’를 진행했다. 바인그룹의 위캔두는 청소년 자기성장 프로그램으로 무료로 진행하는 사회공헌 활동 중 하나다.
묵호중학교에서 진행된 위캔두는 묵호중 학급 임원 및 자치회 리더들이 참여, △자존감 향상을 위한 나는 내가 좋다 △목표달성의 방법을 다룬 목표와 시간관리 △생활 속의 감사를 실천하는 감사행복나눔 등 과정으로 구성했다.
학교로 찾아가는 위캔두를 직접 신청한 묵호중학교 교사는 “학교가 소도시에 위치해 있어서 교육적 인프라가 부족하다. 학생들이 위캔두 교육을 통해 세상을 바라보는 넓은 시각을 갖길 바라는 마음에 신청했다”며 “학생들이 동기부여 받아 적극적으로 참여하는 부분이 인상깊었다. 학업이나 주변을 살피느라 자신을 돌아보는 기회가 부족한데, 스스로 얼마나 가치있는 사람인지 알게 돼 큰 도움이 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.
