브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 농협은 3일 농협중앙회 신관 대회의실에서 이성희 농협중앙회장과 ‘농협 농식품가공공장 전국협의회’ 회원 조합장 100여 명이 참석한 가운데, 2023년도 농협가공협의회 정기총회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 정기총회에서는 작년도 추진성과 및 금년도 가공사업 주요 추진방안에 대한 논의가 진행됐으며, 지난 한 해 우리농산물 가공식품 소비 활성화에 기여한 우수 농협 10개소에 ‘2022년 농식품 가공사업 경영대상’을 시상하고, 가공사업 매출액 신장에 기여한 3개 농협(조합공동사업법인 포함)에 ‘2022년 가공사업 매출액 달성탑’을 시상했다.
가공사업 경영대상은 ‘안동농협’이, △금상 나비골농협, 공덕농협 △은상 정남농협, 서안동농협 △동상 북안동농협, 새남해농협, 지보농협, 인제농협 △우수상 남영양농협이 선정됐다.
가공사업 매출액 달성탑은 △한국농협김치조합공동사업법인(800억원 달성) △두원농협(100억원 달성) △안동농협(100억원 달성)이 수상했다.
이성희 농협중앙회장은 “농협은 소비자 수요에 발맞춰 가공사업을 적극 육성함으로써 우리 농축산물의 부가가치를 창출하고 농가소득 증대에 기여해왔다”며 “시장 변화에 적극 대응하며 한국농협김치와 같은 우수모델을 지속적으로 육성하는 등 국산 농식품 소비기반 확대 및 농협 가공공장 경쟁력 강화에 더욱 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
