돌나라한농북구회는 5월9일자 보도자료에서 “5월 가정의 달을 맞아 돌나라한농북구회는 (대표 정유진)를 통해 지난 5월 4일 울진군 금강송면의 독거 노인들에게 사랑의 후원 물품을 전달했다”고 밝혔다.
박재용 울진군 금강송면 면장은 "가정의 달을 맞아 돌나라한농마을과 부모효도운동본부에서 좋은 일 해주셔서 감사하다“면서 ”어르신들께 잘 전달해드리겠다“고 말했다. 이날 (사)부모효도하기운동본부 정유진 대표는 "효도는 백행의 근본이라 했고 기본 도리이자 아름다운 정신이기에 앞으로도 효(孝)사상을 고취시키는데 최선을 다 하겠다"고 강조했다.
후원된 물품은 돌나라한농복구회에서 직접 생산한 친환경 식품 등이다. 지난 5월 2일에는 문경시 농암면에 후원물품을 기탁했다.
