화정면 화양제 일대에 핀 마가렛은 무려 2km나 이어진다.

의령군은 지난해 부터 의령 명품 백리길의 시작이 되는 화정면에서 의령읍까지마가렛, 송엽국, 가우라 등 초화류를 식재해 꾸준히 관리하고 있다.

올해는 의령읍 대산제 사면에 꽃잔디를 식재해 화사한 분홍비단길이 만발했고화정면 상일제 구간에 양귀비를 파종하고 관리해 ‘의령 명품 백리길’을 찾는 관광객들이 감탄을 자아내고 있다.

화양제 제방에 핀 마가렛 꽃말은 진실한 사랑이고 사랑을 점치는 의미가 있다.
