브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 직장인 10명 중 7명이 창업을 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 이처럼 많은 이들이 창업을 고민하는 이유는 직장생활에 대한 불안감 때문인 것으로 조사됐다.
16일 잡코리아에 따르면 최근 남녀 직장인 406명을 대상으로 ‘창업할 의지가 있는가’ 질문한 결과, 76.8%가 ‘그렇다’고 답했다.
창업 희망 이유는 ‘현 직장에서 고용불안감이 높아 퇴직 후를 대비하기 위해’가 응답률 39.1%로 가장 높게 나타났다.
이어 △월급이라는 고정 수입 외에 부가 수익을 얻기 위해(37.8%) △시간적 자유를 누리고 싶어서(29.8%) △조직 내 인간관계에 지쳐서(22.4%) △현재 하고 있는 일이 지겨워서(18.6%) 등이었다.
직장인들이 도전하고 싶은 창업 분야는 카페와 음식점 등과 같은 소상공인 창업 희망자가 60.9%로, 아이디어에 기반한 스타트업 창업 희망자(39.1%)보다 더 많았다.
소상공인 창업을 계획하고 있다고 답한 이들에게 어떤 종류의 창업을 희망하는지 질문한 결과, ‘카페와 음식점 등 외식업 분야’로 창업하고 싶다는 의견이 43.2%로 가장 많았다.
다음으로 △프랜차이즈업(14.7%) △자판기/무인점포 사업(12.6%) △온라인 판매업(11.1%) 순이었다.
스타트업 창업을 계획하는 이들 중에는 ‘현재 담당하고 있는 직무’와 관련된 분야로 창업하겠다는 이들이 40.2%로 가장 많았다. ‘재직 중인 회사가 속한 분야와 업종으로 창업하겠다’는 직장인은 30.3%였다. 나머지 29.5%는 현재 담당하고 있는 직무 및 소속된 회사와 전혀 관련이 없는 분야로 창업할 것이라고 답했다.
한편, 직장인들은 창업을 위해 자금 마련을 가장 적극적으로 준비하는 것으로 나타났다.
