먼저 전통시장과 상점가 활성화 지원 사업에 대해 홍보하고 시정 추진에 대한 상인회의 협조사항을 전달했다.
여기서 시는 성동시장 내 오픈 스튜디오를 활용해 온라인 마케팅을 위한 ‘E-커머스 지원사업’을 소개하며 상품 발굴과 프로그램 운영에 따른 역량강화 교육 등의 적극적인 참여를 요청했다.
또 전문 컨설팅과 점포 환경개선 등을 지원하는 ‘새바람 체인지업 사업’을 안내하며 해당기간 내 많은 상인들이 신청해 안전위생 설비와 키오스크 등의 설비를 갖춰 스스로 경쟁력을 쌓아 가도록 홍보했다.
더불어 △전통시장 화제공제 지원 사업 △전통시장 주변 편의시설 조성 △전통시장 및 상점가 활성화 지원 등의 사업을 설명하며 공모 신청 동참과 물가안정을 위해 함께 노력해 줄 것을 당부했다.
