[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 국내 애란인들의 축제인 ‘난인의 날 페스티발’이 합천에서 성황리에 열렸다.
합천군은 지난 20일, 21일 양일동안 합천체육관에서 전국 애란인 2천여명이 참여한 가운데 ‘제7회 난인의날 페스티벌’을 개최해 성황리에 마쳤다.
이번 행사는 난인의 날을 기념해 합천군이 주최하고 (재)국제난문화재단(이사장 김진공)과 합천난연합회(회장 문만식)가 공동으로 주관했다.
애란인들의 친목도모를 위한 각종 친선 경기와 함께 한국춘란 새싹 판매 및 전시, 경매, 난 심기 체험행사 등 다양한 난 관련 행사가 열렸으며 축하공연, 행운권 추첨, 합천 농특산물 홍보시식회, 판매장터 등 부대행사 등도 다채롭게 마련됐다.

김윤철 합천군수는 “애란인 여러분의 관심 덕에 합천의 춘란 산업도 성장을 거듭하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 합천춘란에 대한 홍보와 애정”을 당부했다.
이어 (재)국제난문화재단 김진공 이사장은 대회사를 통해 “난 산업을 육성을 위한 합천군의 관심과 지원에 감사의 마음을 전하며, 난계발전을 위한 애란인들의 화합과 열정”을 당부하기도 했다.
한편 ‘난인의 날’은 매해 5월 셋째주 토요일로 한국춘란 대표 자생지인 합천에서 지정해 2015년부터 매년 합천에서 기념 행사를 치러왔다.
당초 애란인들의 당일 체육행사로 진행되다가 지난해부터 문화행사로 격상하여 이틀동안 다채롭게 마련되고 있다.
또한 지난 4월에 ‘합천춘란’이 지리적표시 단체 표장에 등록되고, 합천의 춘란 하우스가 농촌진흥청에 표준 모델로 등록되는 등 합천군은 난 산업 메카로써 국내 난 산업을 이끌고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다.
