브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 연구개발특구진흥재단과 ‘과학기술기반 기업의 혁신성장을 위한 상호협력 업무협약’을 체결했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 자금조달에 어려움을 겪고 있는 과학기술기반 우수 기업들의 원활한 사업화를 지원하고, 각 기관의 지원사업 연계해 기업의 복합수요에 적극 대응하기 위해 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 신보는 특구재단이 추천하는 연구소기업, 첨단기술기업, 특구육성사업(R&BD) 지원기업 등 과학기술기반 기업을 대상으로, 스타트업 전용 보증 프로그램을 활용한 맞춤형 금융 서비스를 제공한다.
또한, 특구재단은 신보 추천 기업에 대해 올해 50주년을 맞는 대덕특구를 포함, 5개 광역특구와 14개 강소특구 내 우수한 공공기술 자원을 활용한 공공기술 매칭, 연구소기업 설립 기획 등 사업화 프로그램을 지원할 예정이다.
이 외에도 양 기관은 스타트업 투자유치 활성화, 액셀러레이팅, 글로벌 시장 진출 지원 등 기업의 혁신성장을 위한 다양한 공동협력 사업을 적극 추진하기로 했다.
최원목 이사장은 “이번 협약은 과학기술기반 기업의 기술금융 지원 및 기술사업화를 위한 공공기관간 협력 구축의 모범 사례가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 신보는 혁신 스타트업의 복합수요에 적시 대응하기 위해 단계별 금융·비금융 프로그램을 체계적으로 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
