[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 식품의약품안전처 식품안전관리 우수기관과 음식문화개선사업 유공기관에 동시에 선정되는 등 식품의약품안전처 전국 평가사업에서 2관왕을 달성했다.
이번 식품안전관리 우수기관 선정은 전국 자치단체 중 인구 20만명 미만 도시를 대상으로 식품안전관리 인프라, 기초위생관리, 정부 식품 주요정책, 식품안전관리 우수사례 등 식품안전관리에 대한 실적을 평가해 8개 우수기관에만 주어지는 표창이다.
음식문화개선사업 유공기관 표창 역시 전국 자치단체를 대상으로 덜어 먹기 식문화 정착, 음식점 위생등급제 확산·홍보, 안전한 외식환경 조성, 음식문화개선 수범사례 등 음식문화개선사업 전반에 대한 실적을 평가해 전국 4개 기관에만 주어진다.
거창군은 빈틈없는 식품안전관리와 음식문화개선을 위해 우수한 식품위생감시 인력을 양성해 위생업소 식품안전과 덜어 먹는 식문화 조기정착 등을 위한 지도·점검 및 지원·홍보활동 등을 적극 전개해 왔다.
특히 안전한 외식환경 조성과 자발적 음식문화개선 참여를 위해 2017년 거창군 위생업소 지원에 관한 조례를 제정해 위생업소 시설개선을 지원하는 등 식품안전과 음식문화개선에 앞장서고 있다.
구인모 군수는 “앞으로도 위생업소 시설개선과 식품안전 인프라 구축 등을 위한 사업을 지속적으로 추진해 군민의 안전한 외식환경 조성과 음식문화 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
