파주시청소년재단은 사회공헌활동 일환으로 ㈜오픈버스, 도우디자인, 디아트그램에서 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 기부한 700만원으로 701특공연대와 함께 그래피티를 통한 마을 환경개선 활동을 진행했다고 25일 밝혔다.

그래피티 아티스트 레오다브 작가와 파주시청소년재단이 함께 기획하여 701특공연대 소속 장병 10명과 재단 임직원이 함께 참여하여 부대내 창고 외벽과 광탄면 행복드림마을 관리소 외벽에 그래피티로 벽화 작업을 완성했다.
701특공연대장 김길정 대령은 “그림에 관심 있는 장병들이 직접 참여하여 군부대 내 생활 환경을 개선하고, 아울러 활력이 넘치는 마을 환경을 군장병과 청소년재단이 함께 개선할 수 있는 기회여서 기쁘다”고 말했다.
이에 손배찬 대표이사는 “파주 지역 지역의 특수성을 활용하여 701특공연대를 시작으로, 후기 청소년인 군장병을 대상으로하는 사업을 적극적으로 발굴 추진해 나가겠다고 ”고 밝혔다.[파주=박정호기자]
