울진군은 31일, 지난27일부터 28일까지 충북 제천시에서 열린 제25회 문화체육관광부장관기 전국풋살대회에 출전해 우승의 쾌거를 달성했다고 밝혔다.

이번 경기에서 고등부(고은수, 고은섭, 김상영, 양나혁,진민성, 최형우, 임성욱 (코치) 이현효)는 우승을, 대학부(황현진, 남정현, 이서화, 이현우, 임동휘, 유상혁, 정재진, 박현욱, 진세호, 이재훈 (코치) 박성민, 남영찬)는 3위를 차지했다.
울진FS는 울진중, 울진고, 죽변고, 평해정보고 등 지역내 중고생들이 포함된 울진군청소년수련관 동아리로, 2010년에 창단되어 지도교사 박경선(병곡중)의 지도 아래, 여가시간을 이용하여 스포츠 활동을 이어오고 있다.
지도교사 박경선 선생님은 “끝까지 최선을 다해 경기에 임해준 친구들이 고맙고, 열심히 노력해 좋은 결실을 맺게 되어 자랑스럽다”고 말했다.
장명옥 사회복지과장은 “울진FS의 수상을 축하하며, 연합 풋살 동아리 활동을 통해 스트레스 해소와 학교폭력 예방 등 청소년의 바른 성장에 도움이 되는 것 같아 기쁘다”며 “청소년들이 자신의 꿈과 재능을 펼칠 수 있도록 앞으로도 청소년동아리지원사업을 적극 지원하겠다”라고 전했다.
